Activities planned within the project:
Within the framework of the project, Spedemex Kft. is implementing a business process innovation activity. The company is engaged in international freight transport, specifically carrying out specialist refrigerated haulage, primarily on the Hungary–Austria–Germany–Belgium–Netherlands route. The freight transport market is changing dynamically, with technological advancement and automated solutions becoming increasingly important. In order to improve the company's competitiveness, it has set itself the goal of introducing new business procedures; the business innovation is being realised in the following two areas: production process innovation and logistics innovation.
The goal of Spedemex Kft. is to develop and implement a new business infocommunication system called "Transportation Team Manager" in the following functional areas:
Production process innovation
Modules related to intelligent production management and corporate management: human resource management and payroll; controlling and decision support; remote and collaborative work support; finance and accounting; electronic document management system.
Logistics innovation
Optimisation of logistics processes, modules related to supply chain management: procurement and logistics; workflow management system (WF).
The new business procedures introduced through the integration of digital solutions will result in comprehensive improvements to the company's service processes, encompassing the optimisation of work operations, faster transit times, improved information flow and inventory management. In line with the recommendations of the Oslo Manual, all of these contribute to cost reduction, improved reliability of freight transport services, increased productivity and customer satisfaction, as well as enabling greater efficiency and decision support.
The intellectual added value of the project is further enhanced by the fact that its professional implementation is supported by the organisation's own staff, with the innovation being carried out with the involvement of 3 key individuals, including one employee with a disability.
